Joseph Sotelo, Jr. was born in Miami, AZ on January 30, 1945, died on February 25, 2024. Survivors include his wife, three children, four grandchildren, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose F. Sotelo, Frances Chavez Sotelo, and his brother John Victor Sotelo. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s from the College of Engineering and Mines and a Master’s in Business Administration. A longtime Phoenix and Tucson resident, he was a bibliophile and lover of Arizona history. He was an avid golfer and was always ready to support those in need. Services were held at St. Theresa Parish. Donations in his honor may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society Tucson Council, Friends of the Pima County Library,
and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
